NTSE State Level:  

D.Sai Rithvik, X-A, has qualified at the State Level NTSE this year. The National level exam is yet to be conducted.

ARYABHATTA GANITH CHALLENGE:

In a Mathematics Exam conducted by CBSE for the students across the country, V.L.S.Sreeram-XB, secured a position among the top hundred students in the Chennai region.

AEES Level Science, Mathematics and Social Science Exhibition-2019:                                                        

The science exhibit ‘Technology In Agricultural Practices-Automatic Irrigation System-’ by S. Anvesh -VIIIA, Satyabrat Odiya -VIII B and E. Poornashik-VIIIA bagged a consolation prize at the National Level Science, Mathematics and Social Science Exhibition, held at AECS-II, Hyderabad  on 18th and 19th of August 2109. 

Inspire Awards:

'Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research' (INSPIRE) scheme is one of the flagship programmes of the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. The INSPIRE Awards - MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge), being executed by DST with National Innovation Foundation – India (NIF), an autonomous body of DST, aims to motivate students in the age group of 10-15 years and studying in Classes VI to X. The objective of the scheme is to target one million original ideas/innovations rooted in science and societal applications to foster a culture of creativity and innovative thinking among school children. Under this scheme, schools can nominate 2-3 best innovative ideas online through this website.

Two students- A.Likhita-XA and S.Anvesh-VIIIA were short listed to participate in the District Level Exhibition and Project Competition (DLEPC).  If successful, they willl participate in the state level event. They were awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000/- each by the Dept. of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.

Co-Curricular Activities:  

  1. i) Zonal Level Debate in Hindi and Hindi Vigyan Prashn Manch:

AECS (M) hosted the Zonal Level (South Zone) Debate in Hindi and the Science Quiz in Hindi   on 30th and 31st August 2019 in which Laxmi BhanudasMore-XA and Rimjhim Jaiswal –X B represented our school and emerged as the first prize winners.

iii) National Level debate in Hindi:

Laxmi Bhanudas More- XA and Rimjhim Jaiswal-XB, represented our school in the finals of the Hindi Debate at the National Level at AEJC Mumbai on 29th November 2019. They bagged the SECOND PRIZE at the NATIONALS bringing laurels and plaudits to themselves and the school.

  1. iv) Bhadrachalam Balotsav, 2019:

The  Bhadrachalam Balotsav was held from 15th November 2019 to 17th November 2019 at Bhadrachalam. A team of students participated in various events. A.Vishal-XB bagged the II-Prize in Spell Bee in the senior category.

  1. v) Medha Competitions 2019:

The hub of CBSE schools in the district of Bhadradri Kothagudem has formed a cluster wherein a slew of activities and competitions are conducted for the students of the member schools to showcase their talent and enhance solidarity among the HOL Members. Medha- a competitive event was held immediately after the Term-I exams on the 26th and 27th September 2019 at Bhadrachalam Public School where the young orators from our school bagged a load of prizes helping in bringing home the ‘Runners Up’ trophy.

  1. vi) Art :

1)  The painting  by S.Anvesh of  VIIIA was selected at the State Level Art Competition conducted by the Ministry of  Power, Govt. of India and he  was presented with  a certificate of appreciation, a gift hamper and a cash award of Rs 2000/-.

2) PCRA or The Petroleum Conservation and Research Association conducted a painting competition on 23rd Sept 2019. The following students bagged prizes at the school level:

3) The Inter AEES Art Competition was held on 9th December 2019. Anukriti Sahu- II A, bagged the II-Prize in the B-Category.

Games & Sports:

Gold medals aren’t made of gold. They’re made of sweat, determination and a hard-to- find alloy called guts.

  1. The sweat and toil of the sports persons of our school saw fruition when D.Samyukta- IX B, bagged a bronze medal in the 800m run at the 7th CBSE Sports Cluster Meet held at CMR International School, Hyderabad from 26th Sept to 30th September, 2019.
  2. The following are events at the district level wherein the athletes bagged prizes:

         The district junior athletics championship held on 2nd August, 2019 at Prakasham Stadium, Kotthagudem.
